I can honestly say that Arquette and Perry are the weakest links I don't think it takes to much away from this gems geminess tho lol.
I like Sharks. The San Jose ones.
and Warriors. The Golden State kind.

Crash directed by David Cronenberg, a great film unless you are afraid of unusual sexual themes.

Yeah i actually wished there were more scenes with Arquette in Crash where as in The Whole Nine Yards she was horribly miscast and by far the weakest performance.

Matthew Perry and Rosanna Arquette as "Oz" Oseransky and Sophie were inadequate and badly outclassed compared to Bruce Willis and Michael Clarke Duncan.
There were no other major weak spots in the film. The script was good, the music was mostly OK or better, the direction was adequate, Natasha Henstridge and Amanda Peet were pretty and good enough.
But having the protagonist and his wife be weak undermined everything. Too bad.

Matthew Perry does his Chandler schtick which was funny in Friends (he always had the best gags) but seems off pace in this film. Willis does his usual job too but it seems to work here. This film had the right ingredients but is less than the sum of its parts. Where the plot twists would have sat comfortably within a well delivered screwball comedy genre, here they just seemed implausible. For me the film was fairly mediocre. The Director, Jonathan Lynn's 2010 film Wild Target is much more charming and enjoyable - but then it does have the wonderful Bill Nighy as the assassin.

I enjoyed Matthew Perry in this movie. His mannerisms were so funny! But I must say that I didn't watch alot of Friends - so perhaps for those that did - his act grew tired more quickly and felt all too familiar.
I liked Wild Target as well. Bill Nighy was great, and Emily Blunt is quite a dish.

Emily Blunt is MORE than a dish! She's the whole bain marie! 😉
