Yeah, I just wish the remake will make it to PS2 or PS3 sometime.

If I remember correctly, I think this game was part of an exclusivity agreement bewteen Capcom and Nintendo at the time which means that the Remake and Biohazard 0 are exclusive Nintendo titles. There might be a port available on the Wii but I think that is it.

You're actually wrong. Part 4 was only a 1 year Gamecube exclusive which was stated 6 months before the games release. It was never meant to be a full exclusive. Only remake and Zero remain Nintendo exclusives and won't be seeing any ports sometime soon.

The Wii's been going through a bit of drought recently, so I actually picked up the GCN remake of Resident Evil at a second-hand store, and I gotta say it is absolutely brilliant. The pre-rendered backgrounds, the fixed-camera angles, the tense music are all so chilling. I've played horror games before, but this was the first time I understood the meaning of the term "survival horror". You are literally on the edge of your seat the entire time; with items and save-points scarse and limited, and your enemies growing stronger and more bloodthirsty every time you pass through a corridor so awesome.
