The opening of the first UL was the best part. Here we get a cheesy fake airplane sequence. And no one even dies. Yawn.
They should've made the kidney sequence to opening. I get that the uran legend style killings couldn't really happen until after Dr. Cameron made it her thesis but I don't think they were concerned with making sense anyway.

Usually slasher films have a death scene to kick off the movie. & that's where they messed up. They could've easily used the bar/kidney sequence for the opening. In my eyes that would've been one of the greatest openings to a slasher film. It was very intense.

Originally the kidney heist sequence wasn't even in the movie. It was shot during post-production when the producers became concerned that half-an-hour of the movie went by before the first kill. That's why the character of Lisa isn't mentioned again and her body isn't seen amongst all the other corpses hidden in the bell tower.
