The fight between Yukino and the Class Rep of Class F.
Was that meant to be the actual producer of the show? Cause Hideaki Anno had left the series by then after disputes with the producers.

No, that wasn't the producer of the show.
The class representative, Fukada, actually had the face of Kazuhiro Takamura, one of the animators of the show (get the irony?). If you bought the DVD of the show, just switch to the english dub and you'll get the end credits in english. There you'll find his name in the episode, which was pretty good.

All they did was sleep together, no horizonal polka.
If I can recall, in the manga (Volume 10) there's a drawing of Yukino
being naked in that scene (nothing explicit), so, it was a happy night.
And yes, in the anime, the intercourse was showed in a poetic way.
KKnJ has many symbolisms, something which makes it even better,
besides the other things it offers.

I liked episode 18 a lot. I think it's one of my favorite ones. Before I saw it (back when they were fansubbed), a friend of mine spoiled episode 18 for me telling me that they have sex. I was upset with her, and I was so reluctant to see it. I've seen hentai titles, and most of the scenes are provacative (sex is supposed to be provacative) and nasty. My friend then says, "no, no, no. Trust me. You'll like this episode." I said, "okay, fine, I'll watch the episode ALONE!"
When that whole scene was over, I said to myself, "that was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen in my life. You hear her moan three times, and you see the pictures, but that's about it. But you still get the idea without any graphics. 🙂
I just have one question. Does anyone know what background music was being played in that particular scene? I know it's by a famous composer, but I don't know who it is, or the music title. Does anyone know?

If I remember correctly, it's J.S. Bach's two part invention for the piano number 8. Tell me if I'm wrong.

The music played during those scenes was Aria by J.S. Bach and Invention No. 8 also by Bach.

I don't quite remember which episode it was but Arima had pushed Miyazawa into the wall, and what happened afterwards was just very meaningful to me. Pretty much that whole episode is my favorite.

All of Episode 18 is my favorite scene. That episode was just powerful and poignant for me. I also liked the end of Episode 3 where Arima confesses to Yukino.

Episode 4 is my favorite episode. It also had my favorite scene at the end, where they held hands, and after, texts that said something like "After that, we became boyfriend and girlfriend."

                              Hi Ikuhara,
Thank for making this discussion. My favorite Anime of all time, but I don't dare to re-watch it as I would feel super melodramatic. Many bitter-sweet memories are attached to the period where I watch this Anime series the first time (circa 2000-2002).
                              My favorite scenes are:
1- The first kiss between Arima & Yukino, in Arima's house while they were studying together.
2- The scene where Arima did a wrong interpretation about Miyazawa Yukino being like any other girls who try to confess to Arima. The laughter Arima made after he realized his mistake is just very interesting for me.

I loved the episode that Arima narrated. I love how he saw Yukino and just brushed off how crazy she was. I think the writer sums this up nicely about Arima

There were so many great moments. A few that stand out are when Yukino and Arima start holding hands or when they decide to live their lives honestly for themselves.
For comedy, I think the scene where Yukino chases Tsubasa all throughout the school is hilarious. Great physical comedy throughout.
So many stories, so little time.
