I've just seen all of IT. It's not bad but it is a classic example of the first half being better than the second. Tim Curry as Pennywise is definitely worth watching as are all of the kids. However the actors playing their adult selves they're okay but not great.

I will actually go as far as saying that Perkins' performance in Small Sacrifices was even better than her performance in Ginger Snaps. Which now as you can imagine I REALLY want to see her in other things now.

Interesting. Wasn't she like 10 when that film was made? She clearly knows how to portray every character that she plays with very strong convictionI'm wondering if she considers herself a character actress. Agree?

Well, I don't think its fair to judge. In Small Sacrifices she plays a mute in a coma for half the film (from what you've told me) and then she gets her voice back and testifies against Fawcett's character (the only real part of the film I've seen, its depressing). In Ginger Snaps she plays an "emo" who wants to stop her sister from transforming into a werewolf. Name me ONE similarity, PLEASE?

Good point, Morbius. Not that I've seen that movie, but you can't really compare the two performances because the characters are completely different IMO. Anyway, I remember her considering 'Ginger Snaps' to be her favorite performance in terms of connecting to the character when asked about it during interviewsso she obviously loves the trilogy to this day.

Actually, she was referring to playing Brigitte in
Unleashed.
I remember her saying that because I totally agree. She carried the first half of that movie, and, as critical as I am of Unleashed, her performance in a single scene was the first
GS
thing I noticed and it drew me into watching the original movie. -
