What do you think would have happened if Clarice had not been shot at the barn? I think she would have tried to take him in, but Dr. Lecter did have her knife and since he is physically strong, he may have been able to overpower her and toss away the gun before kidnapping her. Just wanted to hear some of your theories about whether you think he would have kidnapped Clarice or not.

I think she's an ass in the barn. Considering how dangerous Hannibal is,when she is pointing the gun at him, Hannibal say hand me the knife r whatever which she does.
Then when he's cutting the strap on his ar & talking to Clarice, he says "there's another guy in the window" and what does a trained FBI agent do?? She turns her back on him & looks over her shoulder to check out the other man behind her. Eve though hanibalmis holding the knife in his free arm or hand & could have slashed her face quite easily. If I were Hannibal, I'd have slashed her throat very fast, -
