My favorite is Curupira (the demon who gave Dar his power to talk to animals.) She was so cute.

They're all unique, exotic and gloriously individual characters. I just watched the "Manlinks" episode and the verbal exchange between the coy, devious Curupira and heinous, calculating King Zad was so refreshingly unusual.
In addition, the episode titled "Centaurs" features a breathtaking piece of cinematography of the beautiful couple Sagitto and Radia riding their horses in the moonlight. The episode's final discussion wherein Sagitto, using mental telepathy, projects to Dar the message "Freedom is wonderful. Freedom combined with respect for others is much more rewarding," is how you say outasite.

I think Dai Paterson did a great job as the insane boy-king Voden. Steven Grives was good too.
As for the women Emilie de Ravin was good in her role. You could see her irritation whenever Dar screwed up, and she was sort of funny at those times.
I'm sorry, but I don't think Daniel Goddard was believable as Dar. He's a good-looking guy, but there was almost never any emotion in his eyes during his scenes.
