      WRONG!! The musician that played trumpet in that scene is Nick "Brownman" Ali from Toronto.

              If you listen to the commentary its quite plainly pointed out the Jim played the trumpet himself.!!!
              God sent us two angel's from the heavens above and called them Wentworth and Jensen

                      I came on this board just to find out about this scene. I saw this movie years ago but always remember the trumpet scene, was not expecting it in the movie. I don't listen to jazz but was very moved by this performance.
