Are the writers THAT dumb?
This movie opens with "In the first years of the 21st century, a third world war broke out ."
Wow.
Now, maybe if this film had been made in the 1980's one could let that slide, but good lorda'mighty is that ever a blunder.
Garbage movie, anyway, but they could have at least gotten their centuries correct.

"In a fascist future where all forms of feeling are illegal, "
That doesn't sound like 2005, now does it?

That's just when WWIII started. No one says the events of the movie take place in the first years of the 21st century. Just that that's when WWIII happened.
I'll have to rewatch, but the movie could've taken place 10, 15, or even 20 years after WWIII.
So many stories, so little time.
