    It's too good.
    And for the critics.
The Prozium drug they refer to in the movie used to regulate their emotions does JUST that. Never in the movie did they state that the citizens had no feelings. The movie claims that the drug suppresses the highs and lows of emotion.
ex. If a man gets cheated on by his wife (he should) he will get angry. In the movie (even though love was forbidden) the man would not get as extreme emotion as anger but he will be moved emotionally but not enough to parade symptoms.
"Why is Taye Diggs smiling, he's supposed to be emotionless!!" - Critic 😄
Maybe cause he was in on it with "Father" and wasn't taking the drug because he's the stereotypical hypocritical government employee in charge.
And Gun-Kata was simply there to catapult the preposterous aurora they gave Christian Bale's character to imply that his skills of capturing 'sense offenders' into an unworldly level. "But that beep isn't realistic." If you want realism turn the TV off.
Christian Bale dominated this performance. Whole movie is a wreck but somehow manages to be flawlessly entertaining!
A bright light can hollow the deepest of nothingness.
