    I actually find this the most difficult part of the film to watch. A lot of macho men - covered with cuts, blood and bruises - knocking the cr*p out of each other as the spectators - men and dainty Victorian ladies - look on with smiles of approval. Its a vivid pictorial illustration of the phrase that "British civilisation was won on the playing fields of Eton". I have to say that the whole thing looked so macho and brutal - especially with the ladies looking on - that I felt my own manhood shrivel up in sympathy with the hero!
