At the end of season 2 out of 5. Nice to revisit after 20yrs + and the show is still sharp as a tack.
Characters can be whiney and annoying at times and the situations appear a tad convoluted and contrived, but that is really for the sake of an entertaining soap.
SFU's ruminations on life, living and death cover a plethora of aspects of the human condition that many would connect and relate too and it broke new ground for tv series at the time.
There can be a touch of quaintness about it due to era encapsulation, yet what we are witnessing is top end writing, acting/casting and presentation that rarely throws it punches and is emotionally sound and impactful.
Norman! What did you put in my tea?
