This might be a bit of a stretch, but did anybody notice the connection between the conversation over the dinner table in "Nonfiction" regarding the Holocaust, and the death of Scooby's family at the end? The mother says that the family escaped the Holocaust, and then the family (except for Scooby) is "gassed" at the end. The only one to escape the gassing was Scooby, who questioned his parents' opinion on the Holocaust. I don't know if this was coincidental, or if Solondz was trying to connect the two and if he was trying to connect them, I wonder what he meant by it.

Yea, after the creepy kid spilled the juice and went to tell the maid to clean it up. She told him that her grandson died after being on death row by the use of poisonous gas.
I assume that means gas chamber not to split hairs. -

ditto, great observation, I think there may be something to it.
