that Bourne wouldn't know ahead of time there was kid and all the other people in the same room with Wombosi, I mean c'mon. Plus, as a brainwashed assassin they made them out to be he wouldn't have any second thoughts about killing Wombosi.

One of those moments where more context is given in the sequel, he felt guilty about killing the Russian diplomat and his wife in Berlin, so Wombosi was just another crack in the armour that caused him to go AWOL.
