The only minus I found in Identity that Jason is too much talkative. Perhaps he did it deliberately to make Marie fall in love with him. Dunno.
The best, classic Bourne is in Supremacy, broken, beaten and single again. Much distant and reserved, because he can't repeat the same mistake with Marie, means he should be a lonely wolf since her death. -

I think it makes sense since he actually has someone to talk to in this one. Plus he's blissfully ignorant of the fact that he's a government employed serial killer, so he's in a somewhat better mood.
