Don't know about perfect but I liked it.
Its just so sad that the variety of the world should be used as a contentious issue.

All the three movies had great endings IMO. But I especially loved the one in Ultimatum. It really brought things full circle, with Bourne floating unconscious in the waterwhile we do get to see that his actions did have a positive impact of sorts in the end.

I'd agree if not for that absurd scene where Powell was forced to shoot a guy who couldn't have possibly survived.

I like the alternate ending much better. There's no dialogue, you just see them hugging and kissing but it feels alot more emotional than the "do you have id?" ending.

The ending is great, but I prefer the ending to the third movie with Nicky's sly little smile as she heard that Bourne's body hadn't been found. The ending to the second movie is just as good as the first, too. All three movies have spectacular endings.
Can't say the same for the fourth one, that's for sure.

I do think the ending to the movie was very good and touching. On the other hand, Marie would still be alive if Bourne hadn't searched for her. Better if he had let her live her life without further endangering her.

No, Damon and Potente getting together in the end is the one unfortunate, corny cliche the film succumbed to. Even though it`s fairly nicely played in itself.

Why then? Because it basically means that Potente will be back acting in that next installment Supremacy, 3 years later and you can`t stand the sight of her? Is that right?

I had a similar reaction in the end of Ocean`s Eleven, when it became apparent that Julia Roberts was likely gonna be in Twelve, as well.
