How exactly is it stupid. I don't why people complain and whine so much about this movie. I thought it was great and so does everyone else I know. I thought it had a great story and a fantastic ending. Keep me intrigued the whole time.

I haven't seen this film since it came out in theaters. But from what I remember, I agree with most of the above posters. I thought the film had a good premise, but it completely lacked in pacing, intrigue, and especially atmosphere. Costner was rather bland here, as well.

Well I liked it, I was intriqued the whole the whole movie and I thought Kevin Costner was very good but that's my opinion.

I agree. I loved it. It kept me glued to the screen and was a great feel-good film. Judging from what's most popular, feeling good isn't nearly as in on the big screen as sociopathy is. (I like both genres).
This film is not for anyone who doesn't embrace supernatural concepts. It seems like a lot of people who don't, watched the movie. This is for people who liked Ghost or Sixth Sense.

Well, that is a shame, cause it is a good movie.
Don't get why everyone dislikes it so much.

Dragonfly is great. I loved the whole suspense of it. There are too many dimwits who try to overthink a movie. I just don't get it.

I don't get it either. People seem to expect every movie to be really fast past but that doesn't always work for movies. Some people I'm guessing have a very short attention span and can't pay attention to a movie long enough. I thought it was a great story, it had some freaky moments, sad ones and then a beautiful ending.

There are also plenty of fast paced movies that can't hold my attention. In this one, I didn't want to miss a clue, so I didn't take my eyes off the screen. It made sense that some of the clues were repetitive. No one in their right minds would have become obsessed with just one drawing, citing, coincidence, etc. It HAD to be relentless for an atheist doctor to take it seriously.
