When the baby was crying and the little boy was telling the adults the baby was not well and to give it a panodol ,seriously what kid at that age would even know what a panodol is let alone what's wrong with the baby . Surely when a baby is crying an adult should have some idea what's wrong not a little boy

I don't agree. She (it was a girl) was easily old enough to have learned that word from her parents using Children's Panadol to quiet a crying or fevered baby. Probably had more clue than the adult (Jane) who apparently had no children and seemed somewhat sociopathic.
Obviously it would be dangerous to rely on a child's diagnosis, but it does not make it unrealistic, especially as both adults were under great emotional stress.
