Ontario was going to rip up a multi million dollar Starlink contract, one of Elon's companies, which meant Musk would not have gotten all that money.
No doubt Elon told Turd Lump to back off.
Canada was already working on beefing up border security anyway even though the amount of fentanyl and illegal migrants coming through there is not even a microscopic drop of water in the ocean.
Turd (Pro gun and 2A ) Lump agreed to stop sending high powered guns to Mexico.

Turd Lump ALWAYS promised tariffs no matter what.
