I swear he looked absolutely RIDICULOUS with all that eyeliner that clapped on him. Every time I looked at him I had to stifle a laugh. MD has always been a bit vain (his leading ladies are almost always much younger that he) but really, was all that eyeliner necessary?

I know I'm replying to an old post, but I saw this film for the first time yesterday and came on here to see if anyone else noticed the eyeliner! It was so distracting! He looked like he was wearing lipstick too. I've seen lots of Douglas films and never noticed make up on him like this before. What were they thinking? He was wearing more makeup than the female cast, very strange!
