The only ones I’ve seen are the ones I was forced into seeing with one of the clients at work as we watch TV together over Christmas. I can never remember the plots, much as they are.

Do you think that is where Juan is /.?
If he's local to me he'd have broke out by now and met up.
But I'll look into it and see if I an get him out otherwise.
I'll be super careful though as he can normally look after himself

I’ve never sat down and watched it properly but I can remember it. Usually when I was off sick from school as it was on during the day time.

I think in later years they shortened the title to ‘High Road’ and jazzed up the theme tune a bit.

Well it was set on the banks of Loch Lomond and so there are a lot of vaganbonds that go through there leaving the meat along but still, they had a set permanent cast and a lot of temporary characters sent the one hour drive from Glasgow up to fill in the outsider elements of the story.
It worked (For what it was) but so many actors passed through it that it made a combined Home and Away and Neighbours roster look like child's play

That reminds me of an idea I had for a soap opera back when I was backpacking…
It would have been set in a backpackers resort in Cottesloe near Perth, Australia. You will have had a very small regular cast of Australians (and one American) who work at the hostel and the bar next door, but then you would have the main meat of the soap which are the backpackers who are always always passing through and sometimes causing trouble as they do. The cast would be consistently freshened up due to the nature of the backpackers just passing through. But you also get to know and love our regular cast too who provide a constant.
‘People come and go yet the atmosphere remains the same…at Cottesloe Bay’.

I didn't know you visited Perth Bobby
I've got more than a few friends out that way
Some of them even know that guy with the beard who interviews famous people from Hollywood
Sounds like a grand idea for a soap Bobby. I'm more on board for joining you with that idea than I am the ice-cream truck
Apart from the Aussie government of course
