Pobol y Cwm has changed dramatically from its original old folks home to the pub, school, farm and streets of Cwmderi Bobby
They've really done a number on that show
Machair is another where a change of location for filming completely changed the dynamics of the show and turned it into something altogether different. In its case if got it cancelled
I don't know much about the English speaking soaps of the UK. I was more inclined to go for the Aussie ones or the few from the US that we got

I’ve never even heard of these, I don’t think that they matter! Just Enders and Brookside (on the Scottish channel) for me.
Marie Jackson is just about to leave, she’ll be missed. I definitely prefer her stories over these boring ones of Haversham!

They love that more than Shirley Bassey they do, and make no mistake about it they love her
You've got to be particular about any changes Bobby. Did you know that 9/11 happened because they cancelled Sunset Beach in the US?
