I know nothing of Corrie though Bobby
I asked my friend who watches Enders about it earlier (We all got a phone alarm thing going off here in Scotland from the government and so lots of people checking up on each other) and she has no time for Corrie and also knows not a jot about it
She does reckon your councillor man is a short lived character though. Something about Rubi Rose blackmailing him after catfishing him, but all to stop the market shutting down

No it’s ok we don’t need to discuss Corrie, I was just using the Corrie EP as an example of bad EP’s being afraid to make big changes.
Yes Counsellor Barker isn’t a main character, that’s why I think he’s a Ben Bradshaw creation. Claremont and the others were saying to him as he does his training ‘why don’t you have a go creating a character? Just a small one that will only be in it for a few weeks’ and Ben Bradshaw goes ‘oh can I?!! Really?!!’ and he comes up with that crap character thinking it will impress them all.
