Possibly not, but that isn't the point, is it? In the flick, Matthew met and fell for Danielle before he found out about her past. When he later found out, his immediate reaction was one of rejection, but after reflection, he realized that he fell for the girl (next door) that he met, not the girl (porn star) that he had NOT yet met.
Porn stars are just people, like you and me. They just have jobs different from ours. I've not met porn stars, but have met and dated strippers, which I assume is quite similar to dating porn actresses. Not a problem for me, as it's just her job, which she sheds when she leaves work, as I do my job.XenaGuy

Guys, I believe most porn stars will either quit the business or find something a bit more decent when they fall in love. So like it's not when you love her means she loves you too. Or else she wouldn't be sleeping with all those other people.
That's the main reason, they will feel disrespectful for you (if they really love you) thus they will quit porn business (especially if it's some cheap lame movies, not "glamorous" adult movies that will eventually get an award like in the movie, if you get what I mean, because that's obviously more "professional"). -

I've noticed quite a handful of them quitting the business when they marry. (That is, if they're not marrying another porn star)
For me, it's near impossible to, but if she turns out to be pure in heart AND physically clean, I'd consider it. As long as she decides to quit the business, then yes. -

Probably not.
Although the STD factor is minimal if you actually knew anything about porn or escort services.
The girls are just as clean as the average girl, actually more, the average one night stand is far worse.
Anyway, it depends but like posters have already stated those girls have a lot more issues.
Those foolish enough to move from canada to america increase the average I.Q. of both countries -

Honestly, this question has gone on and on in my head for a while, but if anything I probably would. I just look on the bright side:
1.She's most likely better in bed than any girl I would normally meet.
2.If I'm getting married to her, that must mean I really do love her for her personality, the sex like in most relationships, would just be a bonus.
3.She is probably a really open minded person (I'm not talking about sex, if it were I wouldn't have to ask to find out)
4.If anything fails, we'd get a divorce and move on. -

Love to know how many of the guys on this thread sounding all idealistic on the issue would actually not be seriously interested in a woman who looks like Cuthbert, acts like Danielle and who is just getting out of the porn industry.

Well if you're ok with having your wife been fcked by thousands of guys before you, that's your call. Personally I'm not the sharing the type.
Maybe someone like Cuthbert is what you get as a matter of course, but some of us aren't that lucky. She's something many of us could only get in our dreams.
And there is a huge difference between her being a current porn star and one who's giving up the biz. that's the middle ground.
So if it it is Cuthbert with that past and never going back or 20 lbs. overweight plain Jane withoutyou at least have to consider it.
And like, I said.I'd be curious to see how some of the guys saying "no fing way" would react if presented with the choice while looking Cuthbert in the eye (or not) while she's wearing a teddy. -

Hey, we each have to make out own choices.
Personally, I'd deal with the past in exchange for her. Might be hell to explain to Mom given that her movies are out there, but then there's what you would be waking up next to each day.
