I've seen every movie mentioned in this thread and I can think of some more that offer an arguably sexier female lead, but it's Elisha's sweetness and vulnerability that brings me back to The Girl Next Door every time. Is this the sexiest performance ever by a female? Probably not, but who cares. She knocks me out.

But to the other point, yes she was and still is hot in this movie. The part in the limousine towards the end, the look on her face just about does me in every time. Can I think of hotter women in hotter movies, yes, but even going against my preference for not really liking blondes, she's hot in this movie and just eff-ing sexy.
On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone will drop to
zero

Speaking of Drew B. She was ytoung but surprisingly hot in some weird movie where she goes on a vacation with her dad - the guy from max headroom - and meets weitrd guys is all i remember. -

I'd agree with the OP definitely, but Asia Argento in 'Land of the Dead', Elizabeth Hurley in 'Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery', Kate Hudson in 'Almost Famous', Kate Beckinsale in 'Serendipity' (for the innocence), Zooey Deschanel in 'Elf' and Elizabeth Banks in 'Zack & Miri Make A Porno' are up their, in my opinion.
Also, there was always something about Audrey Hepburn in 'Breakfast At Tiffany's' Alright, creep over.
