Its a love story and about abandoning the porn industry for real love. Elisha is very attractive just like most adult stars. Its not a porno its a mainstream movie.

Man I had this problem back in 2004, and before that it was someone else in 2002. I've just watched this movie again last night and the feelings started coming back, only this time I don't obsess and get down over it because when you get to a certain age you mature and naturally grow out of those obsessions; I think anyway, maybe some dont. Like that Zen guy wrote on a previous comment, life is harsh and once you experience it you realise how sad and pathetic it was to feel that way, yet you'll give anything to feel that way again because it reminds you of a time when life was much simpler. Plus, without sounding misogynistic here, after you meet x amount of women you realise that women like Danielle just don't exist, or if they do, they sure as $h!t don't look like her.
Life is cruel and harsh, but what you've got going on is just a crush that will heal over time. Treasure that feeling man, I miss it. -

Write. A. Fanfiction. Story.
SERIOUSLY!
DO IT!
Go to fanfiction.net.
I've gotten tiny crushes on characters from movies and shows. I go there- I write stories bout em- then my crush is done and over with. =P -

Same here. Well, not anymore.
But I remember dubbing January 2006 "Danielle Month". I was still in high school, and all I did was think of her. You'd think a horny teenager who obsesses about a pornstar character would be purely sexual, but I had true feelings for her too. I guess she was my first love
It'll pass. -

I've been kind of obsessed with meeting someone in a similar way, for about 3 years now. Ever since I saw this movie the first time.
It's not that I haven't met any girls, just that the juice was never worth the squeeze, namsayin? Their chemistry in this movie is just so haunting. -

It's fascinating how many people are drawn to the Danielle character and how deeply they're affected. There was a great post many years back that read almost the same as this opening post. He said watching the movie was a life changing event, that he never felt so drawn to anyone, in a movie or in real life, that Danielle consumed all his thoughts, etc. etc. Then dozens of others replied to his message saying they felt the same way. They didn't just want to nail Danielle, they were madly in love with her.
