Its not Billy Ray Cyrus its John Mayall who sings and the song is written by Peter Green and is called "Out Of Reach".

"Out of Reach" was released in 1967 as the B side of a Single the A side was "Sitting in the Rain". The Band was John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. The movie credits list it as performed by John Mayall, leaving "Bluesbreakers out. The song was written and sung by Peter Green as part of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. Of course Greeny also played guitar on this track.
It later appeared on the John Mayall's Bluesbreakers compilation Album: "Thru The Years".
If you like this track, I suggest you get hold of the Fleetwood Mac Albums from the pre LA era. The name of the first Album points to the fact that Greeny formed the Band. He called it Fleetwood Mac after a track he wrote and named after his favourite rhythm section, originally John McVie was not in Fleetwood Mac, but this was only for a short time.
                  Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac (1968)
                  Mr. Wonderful (1968)
                  English Rose (1969)
                  Fleetwood Mac In Chicago (1969)
The Pious Bird Of Good Omen (1969)
                  Then Play On (1969)
Also Grab some of The Peter Green Splinter Group Albums from this list
