I just know that someone should have slapped that little brat in the hospital scene when she was screaming and whining. What a BRAT! She blames her sister because she took the car and drove off. I just wanted her to shut up.
It was completely reasonable for the older sister to give her the keys and expect she'd stay in the circle like they agreed.

No, Vinny said nothing about her being autistic. She did, however, say that she made a wheezing sound in the back of her throat. She was basically just a spoiled immature brat, and her parents poured all their energy into the "perfect" older daughter, Hannah.
I must admit, though, that I love the scene where Ginger throws a hissy fit after failing her drivers test. I promised Jennifer that I would drive her to the Pickle Pan!!! Lol

I suspect there were some deleted scenes that fleshed out Ginger more because they set up a story line about her having an eating disorder: always eating but skinny, the throat thing (most likely bulimia) and never developed it and then gave her an out of no-where love interest. She was annoying as hell, but I don't think she had a mental deficiency other than being spoiled.
