Shoulda…coulda…woulda…
Shit happens and some things are impossible to prevent no matter what.
Instead of blaming the local politicians, instead blame those morons and dumb assholes who chose to live in a fire hazard area.
Just because humans can live there does not mean they have to.
If you are one of those dumb **** heads who insist on blaming the Dem. mayor then also blame the Repubs. on the City council who make budget decisions and cut recommendations.
The fact is LA never thought they would get a big enough fire like this and did not have enough resources being a city that large.
Sometimes things happen beyond our control and this is one of those things and no one is to blame. -

I'll refer you to this post when Trump makes a mistake. I'm sure you'll be as understanding and forgiving as you are when Dems **** up.

Like after a school shooting Rebubs/Cons all be like, "Too soon to talk about guns. Let's just send them thoughts and prayers instead. That will be enough."
And now instead of thoughts and prayers and being too soon to throw blame around they want to blame now?
What a bunch of ****ing hypocrites.
Priorities mate. -

Nah. Conservatives are always happy to talk about guns.
The problem with guns is criminals have lots of 'em. Until the state finds a way to confiscate those, law abiding people will choose to protect themselves.

This goes for Democrats politicizing it to push their Climate Change agenda also, right? Oh wait, no, they get a pass, right? They're allowed to do it, it's only wrong when Republicans do it, right?
Maybe it's fair to point out the failures of Democrat policies in order to prevent this in the future?

We just need to point out that when you complain about people politicizing a disaster you're not actually concerned or bothered by the politicization itself, for you it's about who is doing the politicizing.
Be honest, you're simply begging people not to point out the failures of Democrats.

Are you going to blame Democrats every time the Amazon rainforest catches fire too?
Heavens no, I'm not a ****ty partisan hack like you, I'll blame them when they deserve blame.

Higher temperatures + more frequent droughts= More fires. Some would have happened anyway. Others wouldn't. On average they'll be bigger when they do happen.
Urban sprawl and development around vulnerable areas doesn't help either. That's part isn't directly related to climate change but it's not helping the situation. -

Good to see you're being rational.
So you see how this works? We look for the reasons why because we want to understand how to prevent it from happening next time.
That's what people are doing when they point to Democrat cutbacks. The primary reason, and the one easiest to address, is Dem cutbacks.
Addressing climate change is a global effort and will seemingly take forever to achieve, while China and India keep burning so much coal. Blaming climate change is fine, but only blaming that, and only addressing that, is moronic.
