Ian: Why are trying so hard to fit in when you are born to stand out?
Libby Reynolds: I love you a million Swedish Fish.
Daphne Reynolds: I love you a million red M&M's.
Glynnis Payne: Oh, put a cork in it, Clarissa.
Clarissa: Maybe someone should've put a cork in it seventeen years ago
    [Regarding Henry Dashwood's familiy mansion]
Daphne Reynolds: It's bigger than our entire apartment and the Chinese restaurant downstairs and the dry cleaner down the street; it makes the White House look like a McDonalds!

Glynnis Payne: Now Daphne, we don't want to make a scene now, do we?
Libby Reynolds: Take your hand off my daughter or you won't get a scene, you'll get a Broadway Musical!
Henry Dashwood: I'm not explaining this very well, am I?
Daphne Reynolds: No, not really. But I'm having fun watching you try.
Clarissa: [Sees Daphne fall over the wall] Did you see that?
    Glynnis Payne: What?
Clarissa: An impossibly large bird falling off that wall.
    Glynnis Payne: Are you hallucinating?
[Waves her hand in front of her face]
Glynnis Payne: [Takes a bite of her eggs] These eggs are positively glacial. When I run this house, senile servants will be the first thing to go.
Clarissa: You'd have to get around the old bat somehow. She'd never allow it.
Jocelyn Dashwood: [Enters the room] Anyone seen my pruning shears? The old bat seems to have forgotten where she put them.
Henry Dashwood: So are you and Daphne
Ian: Yeah, we're eloping. I know it's rather sudden but after last night, there was no going back.
Henry Dashwood: You are joking aren't you?
    Ian: Yes, of course.

"Where are you going to college."
"That would be the University of Undecided."
      "Is that in Ohio?"
      "YesUndecided, Ohio."

That would be really hard to pick a favorite quote because there are a lot that I like.
Of course the classic that everyone seems to love, "Why are you trying so hard to fit in when you're born to stand out?"
I love the one when Daphne and Libby are at that wedding early on and Libby says, "I love you a million swedish fish" and then Daphne replies, "I love you a million red m&m's". That just sounds so cute to me!
I like the one from Glynnis when she's talking to Henry about Daphne over tea and she tries to silence Clarissa and says, "Put a cork in it Clarrisa!" and Clarissa just says, "Maybe somebody should have put a cork in it seventeen years ago!" Classic!
I just found this quote in the quotes section at imdb, but I don't remember seeing it in the movie and I've seen it a lot! Armistead's friend says, "I'd let her dump tea in my harbor anytime." That's awfully funny but I don't remember that!
The key to a long life is exotic women and cheese that doesn't smell.

Mine would have to be the when Henry meets Ian.
Henry: So you and Daphne are
Ian: going to elope? Yeah. I know it's sudden and all, but after last night there's no going back.
          Henry: (long pause) You're joking.

my favorite HAS to be "She can dump tea in my harbor anytime."
Does anyone know who that actor is that plays Armistead's friend?

My personal favorite is when Lord Dashwood describes the royal dress show as 'ass-numbingly dull'.

i personally love when Peach and Pear's father asks Henry "what am i supposed to tell my daughters when they are crying themselves to sleep at night?" while they are dancing and having a good time at their party
                      also
Clarissa: did you see that? an impossibly large bird just falling off that wall!
Glenice: are you hallucinating? while waving her hand in front of her face like it would make a difference!
everyone is entitled to an opinion, dont judge me because of mine

what about (not exact) the scene where henry is talking about launching clarissa into society and daphne says "she sounds like a rocket"
which henry responds to with something about it actually being more of a intercontinental ballistic missile. (or something along those lines).
i love the way colin firth says that.

Actually, the quote went (I know this because it's my favorite):
Daphne: Launch her? You make her sound like a ship.
Henry: Actually, in Clarissa's case, it'd be more like an inter-continental ballistic missile.
