Well I didn't. It was on tonight and me and my mom had chills of ridiculousness down our spines. I mean who dances when they try out an outfit? Not to mention that every scene was totally predictable. The singing was also cringe worthy and really, the only reason Daphne stood out was becuase she was not raised into that posh enviornment and therefore was just more free spirited than everybody around her. And whats so bad making an effort for your father that your crush gets mad at you? It's just sad that a good actor like Colin Firth was in crap like this and a shame that Amanda Bynes has hardly progressed from roles like that.

Ian overreacted, but he had a point. Daphne was giving up her entire self to make her dad/Henry happy and Henry barely was bothering to notice. There could have been a fair compromise. Yes she needed to stop being wild and loud at parties, but she didn't need to go overboard and barely talk to people who liked her before and completely change.

I agree. I'm 26 and I enjoy it whenever it's on. It's just one of those fun, light-hearted movies than doesn't take itself seriously so the audience shouldn't either.

I think this is the issue people keep having with this movie - they try to take it too seriously. It's meant to be funny and light-hearted and something you forget about five minutes after watching it.

I like it overall but there were many stupid scenes.

Love Amanda Bynes, but of all the similar roles that she's played, this just didn't click for me. I adore Colin Firth and love that he is in it as it makes me like the movie more for that reason, but that's it really. I prefer She's the Man, but do hate that she was type cast. I'm hoping that, if she chooses to act again, that she starts to do something different and more challenging. Right now, I just hope she continues to go on a more positive path and stays in school.
