It's far from perfect, but it's very enjoyable to watch and the acting (mostly) isn't that bad. Isaiah Washington is hilarious in his role, there are many funny lines and it even startled me sometimes. Yes, the end is kinda cheesy and the villain reveal was ridiculous, but I still liked the hell out of this movie. Full of charm, very beautifully shot and ambitious.
Why on God's earth does it have a 5.4? -

I liked this Horror flick too.
I don't think that this movie got a lot of press when it came out (for some reason) so not too many people saw it.
I've seen it twice and it's just as fun to watch the 2nd time! -

Stir of Echoes was awesome. I saw it at the cinema without really knowing anything about it beforehand, and it surprised the hell out of me!
The Thirteenth Floor was like that for me too (even though it's sci-fi). I didn't even know it existed, but my friends dragged me to it after it was released and it became one of my favourite movies instantly. -

WOW!!
It's amazing how many people have bad taste in horror
with IMDB, and a little dedication, you can find literally thousands of better horror films than "Ghost Ship (2002)" this film is awful!!
Do some research!!
