The fact is these fires are big, hot with winds moving them around which made them impossible to contain, control and put out since resources are limited to fires of this magnitude.
I suppose they could have been put out with a gazillion gallons of water, 30 billion firefighters and a hydrant located within 100 feet of each other in those hills.
But that could not happen because resources are going to be scarce no matter what.
We are talking about widespread fires and not something that is easy to control in just one house.
So the only thing they could do is their best and just let them burn since they could not put all of them out no matter what.
Humans are limited at what they can do and cannot control everything 100% of the time every time.
These fires are showing us that.
If you think you know so much then volunteer to go there to be a wildlife firefighter and show them how to get it done instead of just sitting there on your ass bitching.
