At this point, I'm not really thinking about immigration, but I'm thinking about the incredible devastation that's being caused because of the CA incompetence. Their
priorities
are all screwed up. They still refuse to remove/manage underbrush and do controlled burns which was a major contribution to this (and most) of the fires that run through CA.

I have friends out there and they generally don't care if it doesn't affect them personally. They are already trying to find angles to profit from this.
In So Cal anything goes. It's all illusions, so no one really cares.
But unlike, say, the SF Bay area, people are generally pretty open that they are playing a role and don't get so butthurt about how their world actually works when it's pointed out. -
