I thought it was clear that the guy giving him money WAS his real father. This is made obvious by the fact that he said "don't tell you mother". In the house, it's Yuichi's stepfather, talking about how HIS son (the one playing the playstation) should now no longer be referred to as "ichi" as he's no longer the eldest, now that he has this new stepson Yuichi, who is the eldest. You can see him object, clearly because Yuichi isn't his real older brother. Later, Yuichi tells Hoshino's mum when he first meets her that he's an only son, clearly also unacceptant of his new "brother".
Who the little kid with Yuichi's real dad is, I'm not sure, maybe a new stepdaughter from HIS new wife
