I know that this is one of the movies that started the whole facination with college life, but its so blown over the top its ridculous. Lets be honest even some of the American Pie movies make college look like a sex festival, I just hate this narrow minded view.

Yeah, this take on college life is over-represented in movies. Movie would have been better if they focused on the disconnect between the Animal House fantasy & ACTUAL college life. Think of that Simpsons episode, Homer Goes to College.
But they were focused on the real-world, post-college disconnect.
