Really not feeling Inara

Everyone has a right to an opinion. So do you.
That does not mean your opinion is correct.
Persisting in your opinion as though it is an objective fact
Just proves you to be an ass.

I came to Firefly because I love Nathan in Castle. And I have to agree on the chemistry thing at least. Being used to watch Nathans/Castles chemistry with Stana Katic/Beckett on Castle, I was dissapointed with the lack of romantic chemistry with Inara/Morena too.

Others can see you're missing. Mal and Inara have incredible chemistry. Everyone knows they're madly in loveexcept that they can't admit it to themselves.
How sad there are those who can't see it. Oh, well. It takes all kinds.

Well there was a very good reason for her being the way she was. Inara was dying and we would have learned that later on.
I thought they had great chemistry, Inara just held back because she already knew she was terminally ill.

I loved her. I read somewhere that her wardrobe was based on Natalie Portman/ Padme's from Star Wars, and I have come to think that her character is what Padme
should
have been (minus the companion angle of course). Her quiet strength and reserve is perfect. She seems older and wiser than her years. I didn't actually hate Padme the way some did, but I wish we'd gotten to know her better. I feel like we know Inara despite not having her entire backstory. She might even be my favorite of the entire cast, but they are all so great it's really impossible to choose just one. -

I like Morena. She's not a bad actress in everything else she's been in she does a really good job. I think the 'blank'-ness you're referring to in this, is how she's chosen to portray the character. Inara is a classy lady, with poise for days and she tries not to let emotion cloud her judgement.
I have to agree with you about the chemistry thing, though. Her and Fillion have no sizzle on screen.
