on the front (windscreen) of the saab someone wrote something like you'll pay for your sins. And so they discuss in the car about their sins. But I got this feeling those two guys had something going on. But it was something about the scar after all. -

The sin was Scott trying to have sex with Jeanine, the cop's wife. The cops brother wrote it when they were in the cafe.
CJ's scar was a whole different subplot.
