What do you think? It's Christine, obviously. Though I like the book much better than the movie, which was decent.
I have yet to see this movie, but I just saw the case sitting there at Blockbuster today. Looked like just a Christine rip-off to me. Guess I'll have to find out what it's really all about first hand before I judge. I do love the idea of a car w/a mind of it's own.

I saw this movie a couple of times, must've been mid to late eighties, where this really exotic black car would drive into other cars and the other cars would just explode. I can't remember if it was a real car or just a concept car made for the movie, but I do remember being 9-10 and being impressed by this nice looking car. I've looked for this movie everywhere, and haven't been able to find it.
It wasn't a horror/thriller movie like Black Caddillac, it was more like an action movie (I think it involved detectives, police and some sort of organized crime).
Does anyone know the movie I'm talking about? Does anyone know the name of this movie??? -

I've been looking for a movie I saw as a kid. It was about a guy in a pick up truck taking revenge on a mean black car (I think an e series Challenger or something like that) that killed his brother (and the general bad drivers in the area)
I'd love to add it to my collection. But trawling Imdb hasn't come up with anything.
Please help. -

"Wheels Of Terror was another car thriller. I think it was a 1972 Dodge Challenger spreading terror to school age kids"
I think it's a Dodge Charger, similar (but different year of production) to the General Lee in The Dukes Of Hazzard TV series. -

Everyone of my favorites have been mentioned. Christine, The Car, and Maximum Overdrive. Two cars I'm glad to have in my diecast collection (though the Plymouth isn't the "official" Christine diecast). Another car movie that I find/found more disturbing than any others I've seen were all the old and the "newest" Herbie movies. I saw them when I was 6 and was terrified of slugbugs. To me, Herbie was more evil than Christine ever was. I don't know how to explain it, really. He just seemed that way to me.
