It's unbelievable. Not only does this film have a terrific cast of actors, but the technical credits - from the production designer to the director - are all full of top notch Hollywood professionals.
And the movie's horrible. What a disaster. As a murder mystery it's laughable and stupid and doesn't make a damn bit of sense. The characters are all brain-dead.
This is the kind of film where you'd kill to have been able to sit it on the production meetings, especially the part where everyone was convincing themselves that this screenplay was worth filming.
