Cuba Gooding Jr. is the star of the film. Critics who have seen the film are giving it better reviews than the first film, but without Eddie I'm not sure if I care to see the film.

Yeah, the trailer is on the new Rocky Balboa dvd. Looks AWFUL! What the H happened to Cuba Gooding Jr????? I know he shouldn't have won the Oscar in the 1st place, Norton should've. But still, he was good in that movie. He must've had options. But he does stuff like Boat Trip and this turd.

The latest I saw on a DVD preview was that "Daddy Day Camp" is to be released in August 2007. It appears to have an entirely new cast.

If they were going to replace the cast, they should have replaced the characters. Taking another actor and putting them in a role previously filled by someone else (Especially Eddie Murphy) NEVER works. "Hey, he looked like this, and now he looks like this? What was it? Plastic Surgery?!" I hate that. Plus, the personalities change no one actor plays the same role in exactly the same way as another which changes the movie. Give it a new set a characters and it -might- stand a chance. As it is? What a joke

They did make a sequel, "Daddy Day Camp," but none of the original actors were in it. It was terrible; skip it.
