This absurd movie is a liberal's wet dream! The crazy thing is that the far left probably thinks that the "science" in this movie is plausible.

Liberals will believe any stupid thing. Ice sheets will grow before they disappear forever. Glaciers are going extinct, just ignore the new one on Mt. Saint Helens. It's colder because it's getting warmer.

If it gets hotter it's because of global warming
If it gets colder it's because of global warming
If it rains more it's because of global warming
If it rains less it's because of global warming
Typical liberal logic -

Certainly no more ridiculous than "It's God's will", and I hear that old fairy tale chestnut from conservatives to explain everything from stubbed toes to typhoons.
"Nothing is more ill bred than trying to steal the affections of someone else's dog." -

You're right, it's equivalent to "It's God's will." Global warming, or climate change, is a religion it explains everything, it's not based on science, it conclusions are not falsifiable, and it demands obedience!

Of course the extremity and the speed at which **** went down in this movie is totally absurd, but the melting of polar ice does slow down the North Atlantic current and could as a matter of fact induce a colder climate in regions that are dependent on this current for their moderate climate.
But in no way will it change to such an extreme extent.rape is sad,but everything happens for a reason -Justin Bieber. And you admire this jagoff?

What does being basically conservative have to do with god's will? I am agnostic and consider myself more conservative than liberal.
However, I agree with your premise that saying it is god's will is just as absurd as the global warming crowd. People let their emotions take over and it is religious for them. They will insist they are right no matter the evidence or lack thereof. -

It's a disaster movie not a documentary. I wish we could just stick to talking about the movie itself, and stop running each other down with politics and personal remarks. It's a MOVIE. we - liberal or conservative - don't think that the "science" of Frankenstein is plausible. Just enjoy (or don't because you didn't like it) a disaster movie with pretty fun special effects, even if they're not accurate.
It's ALIVE. -
