Case in point: You gave Terminator a rating of 8/10 and Terminator 2 a rating of 9/10 , yet you posted this saying they both suck
Just because you are too stupid to understand it, it does not mean that it is a plot hole -

Why should they? You would just dismiss it anyway if it went against your own opinion. After seeing this topic, it is obvious you are just a pathetic troll who attempts to use user's ratings against them. What are you, twelve? Grow up.

I love how you talk to people as if you think you're an adult when you're still in your teens. Oh wow! What a big grown up you are.
Don't be late for your classes. You wouldn't want the school to call your parents, would you? -

I was just messing with you TC. Jason may not be the best villain but it's fun to see him hacking immature young people to death. I will agree though some of the nightmare movies do have a better story and better characters.
Green Goblin is great! -

I'm re-visiting this board for the first time in over a decade, but I used to come here regularly when
Freddy vs Jason
was originally released, because back then it was one of the funniest places on the 'net, as all the die-hard Freddy fans desperately tried to re-interpret the ending in numerous non-nonsensical ways so that their man won. Bizarrely, they didn't have a problem with Freddy being beaten by various teenage girls in the
Elm Street
movies, but couldn't comprehend that he might lose in a fight against an unstoppable hockey-masked engine of destruction.
Equally amusing was the Freddy fans getting incensed when anyone described him as being a child-molester. Apparently they thought it was okay to worship a fictitious character who abducts, terrorizes, tortures and mutilates children, but suggest that he also sexually interfered with his victims and his fans would get incredibly offended.

You see the idea behind Freddy is better than the actual movies while with Friday the 13th the excution of the movies are better than the actual story so those with imagination will be more drawn to Freddy while those lacking imagination who just want to laugh at human destruction will be more drawn to Jason and the non-imaginitive outnumber the imaginative

I disagree I'm intelligent and creative but I find Freddy kind of a bitch and lame. His jokes are bad he gets whopped by everyone and molested kids. Nothing really fun to watch there. Jason seems scarier so does m.m. Freddy never seemed scary cause I feel like I would either wake up or shove the claws up his azz.

They are polar opposites of what you could get for a villain in a slasher movie.
I would group Freddy with other villains like Pinhead and Jigsaw and Hannibal Lecter who are much more dynamic and crafty/intelligent. Freddy I would group with villains like Michael Myers and Leatherface, who are dumb and strong and dont have complicated motivations.
Freddy is scary because he is creative and powerful and hard to predict. Jason is scary because he is powerful and unstoppable and can't be reasoned with. Once Jason shows up you are pretty much screwed, but Freddy is going to toy around with you for awhile before he does anything.
Freddy and his movies certainly require better acting and involve more dynamic plots, so I will agree there. -

I find Freddy scarier mainly because he enjoys what he does. Jason's all business, you know you're gonna die; Freddy, however, toys with you as cat to mouse. In the early movies he used your fears against you. In later movies he actually uses your interests(sex, video games, weed)against you instead. And there he is, capering through your dream like the Ringmaster from Hell, using what you love against you, throwing out wisecracks and one-liners, and having a grand old time with your fear before he kills you. But Jason does have a nice machete!

He's just some silent guy who wears a ridiculous hockey mask and stabs people to death.
The real hockey mask is awesome. The dime store "deer in the headlights look" hockey mask they used in Freddy vs. Jason was ridiculous.
he never fvcking runs
That's demonstrably false, and you just established yourself as an ultracrepidarian, which is a special type of idiot.
Freddy actually talks and has a character. He kills people in creative ways while Jason just walks up to people without making a sound and stabs them.
That's also demonstrably false. Nearly all of Jason's kills were done in different ways. My favorite one was when he whacked a girl in a sleeping bag up against a tree in part 7. You can see a complete list here:
http://horror.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_deaths_in_Friday_the_13th_series
There are some unusual ones, such as a party horn through the eye; knocking someone's head clean off with one punch; body folded in half backwards; face pressed into a wall hard enough to leave a face impression in the wall; throwing someone into a tree and ripping their arm off at the same time, leaving a blood stain on a preexisting smiley face that had been carved into the tree; decapitating three people with one swing of a machete, and so on.
Freddy has supernatural powers while Jason is basically a zombie on steroids.
Jason has supernatural strength, durability, regeneration, and is supernaturally animated in general.
Notice how only Robert Englund can portray as Freddy but ANYONE can play as Jason.
Yeah, Danny DeVito or Rick Moranis would make a great Jason, right? Only someone who is oblivious/unobservant thinks that "ANYONE" can play Jason. People who are more observant not only don't think that, but they have strong preferences among the actors who have already played Jason.
I don't dance, tell jokes or wear my pants too tight, but I do know about a thousand songs. -

Any actor who is about 1.9 meters tall can play as Jason because they wear that dumbass hockey mask and don't talk. Look at how many different actors played as Jason. People hired a different actor to play as Freddy one time (which was the
Nightmare
remake) and look at how many fans got pissed when Robert Englund didn't play as Freddy in the remake.
