I wasn't suggesting any conspiracy, I was just sharing a fact that I found interesting. Tucker was a host of his own show at MSNBC and Rachel Maddow had a regular segment on that show. Keith Olbermann or his producers were impressed and started having her on his show. Eventually she began to fill in for him, which led to her getting her own show.

It was a daily segment that featured her debating Tucker about the day's events that was patterned as a political version of the sport's show "Pardon the Interruption" on ESPN. Some of the old segments are still on Youtube.
