Finally, we have a film pitting at least 2 of the 'Big 4' in American horror (Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Leatherface) against each other.
I can't wait for a
Michael vs. Leatherface
film.
What makes the 'Big 4' so eerie is that they typify a human 'understanding' of pure mania.
While
Freddy vs. Jason
is not a high-brow film, it certainly manages to capture the eccentricity of mania-themed film-making.
What drives a human being to do something that is slightly eschewed or even unusual for the purpose of raising hell?
Is it simply mischief or malice? IMO, it's something moreperhaps self-control.

FREDDY: I have a huge chip on my shoulder!
JASON: Prepare to die.
FREDDY: You just don't feel enough.
JASON: Prepare to die.
