I love horror films. I never expect Oscar winning performances, but c'mon! Painful! Not eloquent but geez!

More painful was the horrible writing but then again that is what has turned horror movies into a joke for the most part.
When the Lead announces to the audience that her father died exposition: Hint Hint - "This is the point where you are supposed to root for the poor girl" That is the point I rolled my eyes and thought about how it was possible this line in the script got by the exec. producers.
Then again the exec. producers didn't really care knowing the larger percentage of the audience only wants to see the eye candy and gorefest.

Some would disagree with you over that statement
