Thanks! Pretty cool you could find all of this. Hopefully you'll be able to go and bring back some cool pix. 🙂

I don't know if anyone lives in it, but it is a private house. I'm sure you could still visit it, as long as you were respectful to the neighbors by not being too noisy or trespassing. Besides, if you trespass and don't bring a toy, Toshio might tell his mommy. 😉

Well, I'm guessing it's being lived in now. With housing being hard to get in some areas, I'm sure that the house is no longer vacant, unless people were too scared to move in. 😉
If you do get to go, please take plenty of pix and share. 😉 I'd love to go myself, but no funds at the moment.

I'm actually living about an hour away from the place by train. I was planning on going to the city where Kamikaze Girls takes place (just north of where I am) and Love Letter, but I didn't even think of Ju-on >_< I'll have to check it out if I can get someone to go with me. If you do go and can't read the kanji, it's in a district called Ekoda. It seems like it's not too far from Ikebukuro (a fairly popular place in Tokyo), so if you go you shouldn't have too many problems with it.

Just so you guys know, in the lower section of the JPG with the three characters in between, the characters mean either "Matawa" or "Mataha" I'm not sure which, because the third character can be translated two different ways. I'm leaning towards Mataha though.
"And Are You Beautiful And Pale, With Yellow Hair, Like Her?"
                      "Do I Dazzle You?"

Really? That's awesome! 🙂 The area looks pretty nice and fairly quiet, tho it could be the time of day the outside scenes are shot, and they can always dub.
If you ever do go, please do share any info and pictures of the area. I'm always interested in learning more of foreign cultures.

Cool pictures. If I ever find myself around there I definitely intend to check those places out.
