To be honest this movie really didn't scare me. I'm very easily frightened and freaked out but this movie was just average in that dept. Sure I was tense most of teh time but I didn't scream or jerk once. Now a Tale of Two Sisters . . . that is one helaciously scary movie shudder
edit- silly me . . . I just now realized I watched Ju-on The grudge. Why are all the titles and information here so confusing >.< -

See, for me not sure what I'd put as the 'Scariest Scene'.. but in the end of the Grudge 2, when Kayako is crawling out of Kyoko during the birth then at the end when reborn kid Kayako pushes Kyoko down the stairs.
That little girl nailed the role of the mother in the look and walk perfectly in my opinion. It was really incredible. -

There are so many scenes that are disturbing and creepy in all four movies. A couple of the most effective (for me) are:
Ju-on 1 (tv): Of course, the girl going up the stairs and turning to her mother with the bottom half of her face gone.
Ju-on 2 (tv): The whole Kyoko segment when she is rocking back and forth with the doll, and the scenes where her parents die (the mother with her head in the room and laughing hysterically before keeling over), and when they go back to the house at night with everyone dead and Kyoko/Kayako still rocking in the room.
Ju-on : The final crawling down the stairs scene is almost impossible to watch because it's so creepy (the expression on Kayako's face!).
Ju-on 2: When Keisuke (sp?) the tv show director/producer follows Megumi into Kyoko's house, and she comes out from behind the screen with Kayako's journal.
One thing that hasn't been mentioned yet and that is part of a few of these movies is any time a character is in the house and it goes from daylight to sudden darkness. That is very effective. I can't imagine that happening to me and not dying of a heart attack on the spot. -

JU-ON THE CURSE 1: Stairs scene, that was freakier than Ju-On The Grudge or The Grudge. Followed by the "Garbage bag" scene. God, I was backing away from the screen!
JU-ON THE CURSE 2: The scene where the wife is all like "What are you looking at?" And then it shows Kayako with her eyes shifting.
JU-ON THE GRUDGE: Nothing, it was actually funnier than it was scary.
JU-ON THE GRUDGE 2: When she opened the door to find Toshio leaning over the mother.
