A movie featuring JUST what is in the Bible would be a very sterile, boring, and short movie.
'Jesus of Nazareth' with Robert Powell was very well done and an accurate portrayal of the Biblical stories. Not boring or sterile at all. Or short. -

I'm glad they didn't just make some monster creature thing, but a human who seems to just be very very evil to the core
Have you seen Gabriel Byrne in End of Days, that was a pretty cool portrayal as well. -

I agree that this film mostly portrays the Bible accurately. Although Satan in this film is not a "human" like you say. Rather, he is a demon who takes on a somewhat human form. In fact, if Satan
was
"just a human" like you are misinterpreting this film's representation of Satan to be, then this film would be doing the opposite of what you are praising it for, by contradicting the Bible.
But I do agree that the Satan actress did a great job.

Think of Satan as kind of legion. He is everything and nothing. Satan is that one guy in the story you have to pin for everything bad while the real culprit sits on a throne being worshipped by peons.
Hell, when you read through the bible Satan is accused by a lot of people, but only actually does very littleand his death count is like 10, tops
