My state has seen dozens of church closings the past decade, due to lack of attendance, donations, clergy, etc. I can only imagine that shutting out a group of potential new adherents to the three major Christian faiths will only contribute to that trend. In addition to the smaller family size, more people ditching religion altogether, etc.
We'll see if this gets pointed out to the new administration and how they address it. -

The ironic thing about border security is that it actually increases the number of illegal immigrants.
Used to be there was a "conveyor belt" of illegals between the US and Mexico. The illegals would come to the US to do seasonal work, then head home to their families with the cash. But then Reagan increased border security. So now the illegals say "oh, I better not go home, I might not be able to get back here again." So they stay in the US. And then, of course, they want their families with them, so they come over too.
The idea of the wall keeping people out is nonsense. Huge numbers of illegals enter the country perfectly legally, and just choose to stay when their visas run out. So NO amount of security will keep them out. But it WILL keep them in.
Stupidity on top of stupidity. Typical Trump. Typical republicanism.

Even if you disregard the political and moral aspects of it, the wall is just a really dumb idea. In order for the wall to be effective, you have to have sentries along its entirety, or people could simply dig underneath it where it wasn't guarded. But if there are guards along the entirety of the border, then a fence suffices. So the wall is a complete waste of money: it is either ineffective or redundant.

The Bible apparently does just that though. Book of Numbers Chapter 5 has God personally giving a law for abortion (forced miscarriage) directly to Moses. The Bible doesn't consider a life to be a life until it takes a breath, and doesn't even count infants as people until they are at least a month old. And in many places, infants are murdered and the unborn ripped from wombs at God's command. I'm sure I don't need to post the verses, we've all seen them and their context.
So if God is ok with it, so shouldn't you be as well? -
